Smash Hits! Children's Book
The Hashtag Charitable Foundation and Noelle's Gift to Children are excited to release their collaborative fundraising book, Smash Hits! The book follows local students out to discover all the ways they can grow up to become a smash hit.
Talking directly to community members and business owners, the children learn about a variety of different jobs and roles within the community. The professionals they encounter are real Sarnia-Lambton residents.
The books are being distributed through the local school boards to ensure households across Lambton County receive a copy. Book distribution begins September 22nd. Copies of the book will also be available for purchase at The Book Keeper.
Book Launch
To celebrate the launch and success of this project, #charitable and Noelle’s Gift are hosting a party at The Book Keeper on Saturday, September 23, 2023. The festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. and will include a reading of the book, some refreshments, photos and an appearance by Twisted Chris! Full details on the event can be found here.

Also, we just wanted to give a shoutout to all the businesses involved with the Smash Hits book project. Last night we held a book launch for all the sponsors at Imperial City Brew House. Thank you to their team for hosting the event and providing refreshing beverages along with that beautiful charcuterie board.
We would also like to shoutout to Laura and her team at Great Lakes Refill Co. for the candy and nut bar! We’re happy to say we didn’t have many leftovers to bring home! We received many inquiries over the night about the nuts, so we wanted to be sure that everyone knows that they were Jalapeno Cheddar Almonds and Zesty Ranch Cashews. Also those gourmet Gummy Bears are gluten free!
To the sponsors in the book, we can't thank you enough for partnering with us.
Please note:
The books will be distributed to all households with children in Grades JK - Grade 1. They will receive a copy of the book if they attend LKDSB, SCCSB, or Sarnia Christian School. So families who meet that criteria won't need to purchase a copy or receive one from sponsors. We are beginning deliveries with LKDSB this week and will move to SCCSB and Sarnia Christian next. These should all be distributed by the end of the month. This means all 5,000 copies should be into the hands of families across the county in just a couple of weeks!
